Nuclear plant protest group meets Energy minister

THE fight against a new nuclear power station at Bradwell [in Essex] landed on the doorstep of Energy minister Charles Hendry on Tuesday.
A 10,000-name petition against the proposals was handed in by 11 members of the Blackwater Against New Nuclear Group (BANNG), who later sent a deputation for an hour-long face-to-face with the minister.
