Join Kick Nuclear, London Rising Tide and others from the Stop Nuclear Power Network [1] to form a vibrant "Green Energy Not Nuclear Greenwash" bloc at the National Climate March for a Zero Carbon Britain in London on Saturday 4th December 2010. [2] Help us bring home the point that nuclear power undermines the real solutions to climate change [3] and has no place in a Zero Carbon Britain.
What to wear? What to bring?
Bring white overalls (the all-in-one kind you can get
from a pound shop) and a gas mask or white dust mask if possible. We'll be bringing banners, Stop Nuclear Power Network broadsheets [4] and Boycott EDF Energy [5] leaflets - but the more banners, bells and whistles the better.
Where and when?
Meet at 11.00am by the Christmas fun fair at Hyde Park Corner (to the right of the entrance arch by the fake Christmas trees) - 1 minute walk from EXIT 1 of HYDE PARK CORNER tube Station.
Please be on time so that we are together as a bloc for the special "aerial" photos that will be taken before the march moves off.
