3 May - Anti-nuclear protester Stuart Holmes interrupted Gordon Brown as he addressed an audience at London's Methodist Central Hall three days before the general election.
Stuart leapt to the stage and revealed a placard reading "NuKiller Power NO" midway through the Prime Minister's speech, before being wrestled away by security. The leaders of the two main opposition parties had earlier spoken at the event. Stuart was interviewed by police for half an hour before being released without charge.
